Plott Labs, LLC (“Plott Labs,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal and operational data.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information through the OneNet Revere Mobile application (“App”) used by public safety personnel and authorized agency representatives.

The App is designed to support secure, real-time incident management for law enforcement, emergency services, and related organizations operating under CJIS, FedRAMP, and FIPS 140-2 compliant environments.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • Users who download, access, or use the OneNet Revere Mobile App.
  • Agencies and organizations deploying OneNet Revere for official operational use.

This policy does not apply to data processed outside of the App or maintained within third-party agency systems that integrate with it.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data required to operate the App securely and effectively.

a. User and Authentication Data

  • Name, username, email address, and agency ID (provided by your organization).
  • Authentication credentials used for secure login.
  • Authorized QR code metadata identifying your agency and subdomain.

b. Device and Technical Data

  • Device name, model, operating system, IP address, and network connection status.
  • App version, last active timestamp, and device health metrics (e.g., battery level, connectivity).

c. Operational and Incident Data

  • Incident identifiers, timestamps, geolocation (where enabled), and call status.
  • Navigation routes, response actions, and activity logs (for accountability and auditing).

d. Optional Data

    • Diagnostic or crash reports (only if the user or agency opts in).
    • Aggregated analytics to improve performance — anonymized and never sold.

 

4. How We Use the Data

Your data is used strictly for operational, safety, and support purposes:

  • To authenticate users and maintain secure access control.
  • To synchronize and display incident data in real time.
  • To enable mapping, routing, and situational awareness features.
  • To send authorized notifications and operational updates.
  • To support troubleshooting, technical assistance, and system performance.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or commercial resale.

5. Data Security & Compliance

We implement industry-standard and government-grade protections:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest (TLS 1.3 / AES-256)
  • Role-based access control (RBAC) tied to agency permissions
  • Multi-factor authentication where required
  • Secure QR onboarding to prevent unauthorized access

The App and backend services are aligned with:

  • FIPS 140-2 cryptographic standards

Audit logs, session tokens, and incident histories are maintained per agency retention and chain-of-custody requirements.

6. Data Retention

Data retention periods are defined by your agency’s operational policy.

Plott Labs retains only metadata necessary for service continuity and auditing, and deletes or anonymizes records once they are no longer required or upon agency request.

7. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.

We may share limited operational data only with:

  • The authorized agency that sponsors the user’s account.
  • Service providers that support secure hosting or analytics (under NDA and security review).
  • Law enforcement or government authorities when required by lawful order.

All third-party integrations (e.g., mapping APIs, weather overlays) are evaluated for CJIS/FedRAMP compatibility before use.

8. User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction and agency policy, you may:

  • Request access to your stored data.
  • Request correction or deletion of inaccurate information.
  • Request audit reports regarding system access logs.

All such requests must be submitted through your agency administrator to ensure chain-of-authority verification.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended solely for professional, authorized agency use and is not directed to children under 18.

10. Data Transfers

If data must be processed outside your agency’s region, it is transmitted via encrypted channels to FedRAMP-authorized U.S. cloud environments or equivalent government-approved infrastructure.

11. Updates to This Policy

Plott Labs may update this Privacy Policy periodically. All revisions will be published within the App and on our website. Continued use of the App after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
